Hello,
Yes I am more than willing to return, and never wanted to leave in the first place. My entire problem is that there are mods/admins on the board that are still being compensated yet they have not logged in for 6 months+. I was by far one of the most active admins and made a solid effort to increase users' enjoyment of the site. Yet GameFly refuses to give me the same deal as inactive admins. Last night, slayer announced that he was leaving the site because the flow of questions as of lately. Of course slayer changed his mind the next morning, but that seemed to start a flow of people rethinking their existence on the site.
Today, there seemed to be a lot of questions more pertaining to the issues that are starting to occur on GameFly. Durring the Superbowl however, piminlover and TG left suudenly.
This is the current state of GameFly. I'd say this is the deciding point of GFA's existence. So, I'm thinking that losing 5 members (potentially 6 if slayer left) won't be the end of the site's losses. However, maybe this is what GF needs. Members have been screaming at the top of their lungs for too long, and we're giving up. At this point, it's GF's move.
Now DG leaving all of the sudden caused a flood of Support questions storming in, especially D2D questions. This was because DG was working to get rid of those questions, and leaving caused the storm.
So yestersay shows the perfect example of how GameFly is now. There was an unbalanced ratio of Supprt questions to Game questions. There were so little in fact that I posted a question addressing this and stating my potential recgnition if the site doesn't get back on track soon.
Ok, So I'll fill you in! It all started when Gotentainment was banned a little over a week ago for cursing out DG. I don't exactly know why he did this, but I believe it was because DG announced a GF clean-up that I guess threatened some of his questions. This was the beginning of the end.
DG up and left a few days ago. He said that the extra work he put in with no extra incentive wasn't worth the extra effort. You can see his address of resignation on his wall.
