I have some friends on the inside and I'm hearing that the development for the games has shifted. Before many of the developers were creating for the Xbox 360 first and the PS3 after that. Most of the time the games for the PS3 were lower in quality due to the issues to develop for it. Since the developers know the 360 is easier to develop, they are now developing the game first for the PS3 and porting it over to the 360. Because of this, the look on the PS3 is much better than it use to be and similar to the 360. about 1 year ago

I thought that paying for something like Rock Band wasn't going to be worth it, but I was wrong. Rock Band 2 alone was $190, plus $50 for a Guitar Hero III guitar, and $5 to download the Rock Band songs. If you also add all the downloaded songs I bought, I've spent way more than I would imagine. To me it has all been worth it. At parties and just gathering with friends, everyone has a good time with it. I'm not sure about Tony Hawk's Ride, but I believe this where some of the gaming is heading. We are going pay for more toys to make the gaming experience more realistic. I think for anyone you just have figure on the replay value of any game you buy. over 3 years ago

I think I play FPS games much better drunk. At least I don't care if I get killed and my guy has to move just like I feel. = ) I'm sure you are just more relaxed and that you don't care makes it appear that you are better. over 3 years ago

I don't think there needs to be a new generation, but definitely an upgrade for one console. The Wii needs an upgrade or something in order it to have something similar to Xbox Live so that it makes so much easier to play with people online. How much fun would it be to bowl against your friends online? Even though the Wii was suppose to be cheap, but the online is terrible. A lot of their games would be a lot better if their online was improved. over 3 years ago

I don't think this was ever the case. I think it was just known that guys play video games more than girls do, but gaming companies have always tried to get girls to play games. With all the different types of games coming out, I think more girls are playing games that aren't just killing each other in war games or playing sports. I think every guy would rather have their girlfriends or wives playing with them so it is ok for them to spend all their time playing games. over 3 years ago

LittleBigPlanet. I thought the online was going to be a lot of fun to play with my friends, but the lag was so horrible that it wasn't worth playing online. Also, it was lame that they removed content for copyright issues when even the publishers weren't creating levels based on their games. Some of the those were very well done and I'm sure it took a lot of time to make. It still was a good game, but I thought it was going to be a Katamari Damacy for the PS3. over 3 years ago
