Play lots of games watch lots of movies read books sketch a little (or a lot) keep your eyes open :) try your hands on scripting mods and moding in general. you will find many people that will help you start there. Every time you play a game write down the 3 things you like most and 3 things you didn't like. Be persistent, polite and have fun!!! depends on the genre. i play mostly RPGs and all bioware games as well as Blizzard RPGs are my favorites. otherwise i like call of duty series a lot as well as all Relic RTS games. over 3 years ago
