hmm, generation specific. Nintendo it was all about the side scrolling action games, Super nintendo was more about the RPG and pseudo-3D racers, Playstation was about the 3D platformers, Dreamcast was all about the selection of 2D fighters! Ps2 was racing, 3rd person adventures, So far.. on 360 I loved Rock Band for a good long time. have a big racing game collection too.

I would have to say Action Adventure and probably sports, I lean more towards the extreme sports now.

I don't have one, unless it's 'video games' in general. Really, there's so many good games amongst all genres, and really the lines are getting so blurred between them, that it's hard to just cement myself into one niche. I guess 'multiplayer' is as small as I wanna get.

I'd have to go FPS on this. Used to be sports games 5-10 years ago. Now, all about the FPS and the fast paced action.
