Your most frustrating moment in gaming?

Mine is the chapter 6 boss of Ninja Gaiden Sigma. I tried it so many times now and often died at the point where one hit would have killed him. I'm so done with this game now, I hate it :)

The speeder sequence in Battletoads drove me crazy. Also near the end of God of War when you have to climb up the spinning columns with blades on them. Man that was stupid.

Any flood level in Halo is also a contender.

  1. My all timer has to be fighting Mike Tyson in "Mike Tyson's PUNCH OUT!!!". My God that was a chore. I couldn't sleep for a couple days until I knocked him out. DODGE, DODGE, DODGE... 007-373-5963. Oh the good ol' days.

  3. Well Seth in SF IV was a huge, cheap d-bag. But probably even more so was in Pokemon Puzzle League on the N64. It is a Tetris Attack clone with Pokemon. On the hardest difficulty, Super Hard, after you beat Gary, who by himself his so infuriating, you go on to face Mewtwo who is just ridiculous and if you lose you have to go face Gary again. It took me a long time to beat Mewtwo, but when I did...well the credits rolled and not much changed.

  4. Soul Caliber III. I almost punched my best friend in the face because he kept beating me and would not stop trash talking. I have never played a fighting game with him since. So I guess fighting games in general really piss me off!

  5. The very last level of Super Mario Bros. 3 where you're just jumping from tank to tank and avoiding those gigantic bullets. So frustrating...I'd have 50+ lives, lose them all, and never beat the game. Argh! :)
