Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat, and Killer Instinct. The most was probably spent on Street Fighter 2 Champion Edition.

I think it is three factors: cost, advancement of consoles, and location. It costs at least a $1 to play games at GameWorks or similar places. The newer consoles are as good or better than arcade games. It is cheaper to buy a game and play online than spend money to get good at an arcade game. Finally, I use to go to the mall or 7-11 to play arcade games. Not many malls or even 7-11 stores have them anymore. It is not as abundant as it once was.

Back in the day. I loved SNK.. and dropped many coin on Art of Fighting.
recently, I had the honor of playing Street Fighter 4 and Tekken 6 in Japan last summer. I probably blew 2000Yen a day on SF4 alone.

Wow. Tough one, but I have to say it was either Super Mario Bros. or Street Fighter 2. I'm pretty sure that Galaga and Ms. Pac man are up there too since you can still come across either one of those two.

I would have to say Marvel vs. Capcom 2. I was always spider-man. I also love Galaga, though.

Heh, they were 20p pieces rather than quarters, but for me it was Final Fight, Cabal and Blood Brothers.

Daytona USA. That thing cost like a dollar when it first came out, but my dad loved racing so we'd go head to head all the time at the local bowling alley.

TMNT, Bad Dudes, Street Fighter 2, but Gauntlet would probably take the cake.
