What game were you most excited for, but disappointed once you purchased?

I'm already stoked for MW2 and hope it lives up to the hype.

I was once no twice it didn`t apeel to me ti was: Pokemon channel and kind of Harvest moon: a wonderful life. It was the most disappointing because I acctully rented those games thought they were good and bought them. The reason Harvest moon isn`t good is because the dumb girl won`t marry me. in the game your a farmer and you grow crops and thing like that. And the farmer is a boy but he got a blue feather and if he gives it to a girl and she takes it, it porposes a marrage. In pokemon channel all you do is watch a tv allllll day. You can go outside but there is nothing to do out there

  1. LittleBigPlanet. I thought the online was going to be a lot of fun to play with my friends, but the lag was so horrible that it wasn't worth playing online. Also, it was lame that they removed content for copyright issues when even the publishers weren't creating levels based on their games. Some of the those were very well done and I'm sure it took a lot of time to make. It still was a good game, but I thought it was going to be a Katamari Damacy for the PS3.

  2. Super Mario Galaxy. I want my Mario in the Mushroom Kingdom with 'normal' Mushroom Kingdom gravity (see: Super Mario 64). Space sucks.

  3. This is going back a ways, but Legend of Dragoon. The supposedly Sony Published FF killer was nothing more than a typical JRPG with a terrible story and annoying combat and visuals and art design that were only mediocre for its time.

  5. Recently it is Killzone 2. I wanted to love that game, but the controls pretty much ruined it for me. The graphics and sound are amazing, but the lack of configuration and laggyness of the controls make me not want to play it. I dont see why the developers would purposely make my character feel like he is a 400lb man with slow-a__ reflexes. When I move the analog to shoot someone, I dont want there to be delay/lag. It could have been such a great game for me.

  6. It's funny but I'm usually not very disappointed by games right when I purchase them/play them for the first time. Even if they are crap.
I guess it takes a while for it to sink in sometimes...

With that being said, my answer is Devil May Cry 2.
