What is the longest you have gone without sleep while playing the same game?

I usually try not to give up sleep in the name of gaming. I have too much else going on to do that. But every once in a while I'll stay up to 2 AM instead of 12 AM on a weeknight to get further in a game, for example.

FFVII. I was in my prime age where I did not have much else to do but game. I think I stayed up 2 days straight trying to find all Materia and Summons. And no, it was not hard drugs that kept me up, it was a good ol' couple gallons of coffee. Not for me anymore.

All night for sure. Probably the longest I have played is 12 hours.

Im not sure how long i was playing for but ino i stayed up all night and passed XII on the xbox.

If gaming ever got in the way of my sleep I would give it up. Need my sleep. We all need are sleep for the body to repair itself daily. Gaming will be there everyday. Also make sure I get up often while gaming just as you should sitting on a computer. Don't get me wrong, I love gaming but one should not let it interfere, sidetrack or hinder other parts of my life.
