When do you think the next GTA will come out?

Grand Theft Auto IV was in development forever, so will the next GTA take that long too? Will it be on just one platform like China Wars on the DS? Remember that the DLC like the Lost and Damned was supposed to come out Fall 2008, but it came out Jan 2009.

Well I think the next console release of GTA won't be till 2011 at the earliest. If you remember, Microsoft paid for 2 exclusive DLC items. The Lost & Damned took a pretty long time to complete, though I felt it was worth the wait. So I have a feeling the next DLC will be of the same length, if not a little bigger. That kind of major development takes a lot of resources, I suppose they could be developing the next installment at the same but it doesn't seem very likely.

  1. I believe that the next full GTA game (not DS/DLC games), will come out Fall 2010. I'm tipping Rockstar North will make some sort of announcement of a new GTA game at E3 in a few weeks!

  2. Fall of 2010 is bold. I am gonna stick with the Spring release and go April 2011. They may actually say 2010 but it will be 2011 after they delay it 3 times. Yeap -thats how it will roll.

  5. Hopefully we will get some more insight into the next GTA game at E3. It could be a while though being that they are just finishing up on Red Dead Redemption.
