Do you guys like homemade gaming videos?

Unless the video shows someone pulling off something amazing in a game, I usually don't care.

The only game videos I usually watch are trailers. Once a game is out already I'd much rather just play it myself than watch it being played. The rare exception is the occasional video walkthrough.

I prefer the more 'pro' ones (using the term lightly), listening to the voice-overs on homemade ones is depressing, they all seem to have monotone droning voices, the kind of person you'd hate to be stuck in a lift with. Some of the play-throughs on youtube are great.

If by homemade you mean amateur video's, then no, i don't like them.

If they are good homemade video's, then yes...

I do watch gameplay videos of tips and tricks, or people completing games in record time.

not usually.. but I saw one where Justin Wong vs. Daigo.... Daigo completely DEMOLISHED! Justin Wong in Street fighter 3. it was awesome because my jaw dropped to the floor.. its slow until 2:40 seconds when your like "ok, He won, tournament over".. and your blown away.. watch it.
