When's the last time you actually read the instructions on a game before playing it

A few days ago, actually. I always read the manuals. Not because I can't figure out how to play, but because I figure I'm paying for it so I might as well take the 15 mins required to read it. Plus sometimes they give insights into the game's story or features that you may not know right off the bat if you didn't read it.
Suck on that spicy meataball of self-plagiarism.

Yesterday actually...just opened up my copy of Devil Summoner 2 and having never played the first one, I had no idea what to expect. So I cracked open the instructions and read through it and then dove in to the game.

Every time. I at least try to glance at the instructions or, failing that, talk to someone who's played it before/read up on it on GameFAQs/online. Going into a game cold annoys me.
