If you've completed a game but haven't got all the achievements do you play until you do?
Best Answer
I typically finish a game and move on to the next. I find achievements great fun to get on that first gameplay, but i usually won't grind them out. If anything they may convince me to pick up an old game again when I have nothing else to play, but that is fleeting since the next game usually comes along shortly.

No, I don't really care about achievements. In fact I will often return games before I even beat them, either I am tired of playing the game or there is another game I want to rent. I guess that's the good and bad thing about only renting games but I'm still satisfied with my experience.

I have attempted to with a couple games recently. Fable 2 and Crackdown have drawn me back to them to get more achievements. I still haven't gotten 100% on either one but I still had a blast trying to get the random achievements. There are just always a couple that are annoying or frustrating to get.

No, not really. I'm a fan of the storyline, so its not often I go searching for trophies (PS3). Whenever I get them, great, but idc if I don't get them.

Nah. Achievements are awards to be earned through meritorious gameplay, not meritorious grinding. Now, if the achievements directly affect some part of the game (TF2's old weapon system, Mass Effect's weapon enhancing achievements, Killing Floor's Perks, City of Heroes' Accolade system) then that's, y'know, part of the game, earning those to become more awesome in gameplay. But just to wank for the sake of wanking? Nah.

Sometimes I'll go back for the ones I may have missed, but I never have time to 100% games.
