Is the announcement of the PSP Go the beginning of the all digital/DLC content revolution?
Will all next-gen consoles be DLC only, no discs? Will renting be a thing of the past? Discuss.

Renting doesn't have to be a thing of the past. Look at streaming netflix through the 360, or the rental system on the PSN. Could rent games that way. But games at the point that they're at would take up tons of room... MGS4 took up the whole Bluray... that's 50gbs... you wouldn't fit many games on a HDD ...

Nope. not with prices of games increasing and the economy still not good.
renting and buying used games have gone up.What this is good for though is possibly streaming game rentals!. think about it, downloading a quarter of the game and being able to play while the rest loads, this is VERY doable on mobile devices and handhelds has there storage needs and game sizes aren't crazy amounts (360 less crazy, but Ps3 super INSANE!.)
a streaming rental service would be perfect for the PSP Go and DSi.
my IDEA!. I copyright!- 0
