What should the next COD (after MW3) setting be?

I think it should be sometime in the future (aka World War 3). What do you think?

China is an obvious choice since it is going to be our rival superpower. They are kind of becoming this century's Soviet Union. Russia is also gaining power again with its untapped oil fields but I think that story line has been done enough times before. Of course they could always do something weird like..... Canada. Think of it: the Russians invade Canada for their huge reserves of Maple syrup. We can't let them take the syrup! What will we use on our pancakes!

  2. This is a complicated question; where else to go? We've been to China, Japan, Russia, and countless other places, including our own backyard. Maybe space? But that sounds geeky. :) They shouldn't make another game, unless they come up with an original idea. Maybe even Inception.

  3. Idk. Call of duty has hit pretty much every major war out there especially World War 2 except probably the Korean War. They'll probably have to go in the future or something.

  4. Thinking the same as you, WW3, because they can't go back in time to WW1 or the Korean War because the guns would be worse. Possibly the war in Iraq/Afghan to have something recent.

  7. What if they made a modern day space race like the one in the 60's. And you start out playing as a scientist in the space station and you are fixing the GPS or whatever it is that they use to find there way in space. And then the Russian's shoot a missile into the Space Station and you die and come back as a Marine who was sent to find and destroy a Russian base where the Russian's are trying to develop a better type of space station that can stay in space way longer than the American one that can stay in space for 3 years without sending anything for more oxygen. Or they could make you play as the Marine who killed Osama Bin Laden.I'd buy it no matter what though. -Srgt.Pepper
