What's the best game you've played so far this year?

I'm currently finishing up UFC 2009 and inFamous and trying to figure out which game I should rent next. What have you played this year that has been worth your while?

I'd have to say inFamous. The gameplay, story, and graphics are amazing. Also I'd have to agree with Fenyx with what he/she said about Peggle. It's the most addicting casual game I've played in awhile.

  2. Hmm...well I've played Halo Wars the most. Left 4 Dead and Gears were last year so...I guess I'd have to go with Halo Wars. Although Peggle gets a strong honorable mention.

  5. Resident Evil 5 was a lot of fun, if you have a friend to play it with on co-op. If you are in to Street Fighter, you should give SF 4 a whirl...if not you can probably pass as it was incredibly hard and frustrating. Hawx is fun, i would say its worth a rent. I played the demo for Red Faction and it was a lot of fun, you would not believe how satisfying it is to hit somebody with that hammer. I dunno if you wanna go old school but I got Devil Summoner 2 for the PS2 and I am having a blast playing it, it is incredibly addictive.

  6. If you are just renting... I loved the wolverine game, sure it has lots of technical issues, and the story is so so, but it was very satisfying gutting and dismembering people as wolverine. i have a hard time saying buy it because it was very short, but hey I loved it anyway.
