What do you think about the 2010 release of Xbox Natal?
Yesterday on Yahoo there was an article about a big rumor that in the year 2010 Microsoft will come out with the Xbox Natal, instead of having Natal as an add on to the 360.A big reason for the whole new console is because EA says that theyve completely maxed out the 360's preformance. They said that the new console will have a larger processor and itll have everything Natal had so itll be like a upgraded version of the Wii. So do you think you want a new console already or do you want to keep your 360? Also how much do you expect the next xbox to cost if it has a larger processor and Natal in it?

I love the idea of Natal, from being able to play racing games just by holding your hands out in front of you, to being able to talk to a virtual reality character such as Milo... What was announced is nothing short of amazing and i really hope that it is as accurate and has the support that this truly deserves.
It truly is the next step in gaming, as Nintendo have previously proven, Sony's 'wand' doesn't really exite me as much as Natal, but i'm looking forward to the next 12 months to see exactly what becomes of all of this.

Personally, I think a new console release is a bad idea. and Maxing out a system?. come on. I forgot which developer said it.. the team that is doing Forza 3. they said "No system has ever been maxed. To say that is to say 'this game is the best that will ever come out'" and the notion that you couldn't do better or find more ways to be more efficient only shows your lack of effort.
releasing another console is going to force Sony to feel they need to release one to be competitive. with the Ps3 only just NOW hitting it's stride, that is going to angry alot of people who dropped 400-500 bucks on something that only got a handful of support.
Unless it's just a slight upgrade, then Sony can release there PsThree (slim). that would probably be alright. But a whole new system?.. I think thats an awful idea right now.

It's safe to say there will not be a brand new xbox console:

However, I do think Kotaku has a point, it doesn't rule out a newly designed 360. Sony has proven that a smaller, faster, cooler (temperature wise) design can improve sales dramatically and it cuts costs. Despite what you think, the 360 has not seen its limits reached in terms of its hardware. Some of the PS2's best games came out at the end of its cycle. Take God of War 2, for example, that blew everybody's minds in terms of what they thought was capable on a PS2...and it came out 7 years, yes 7 years, after the PS2 launched. The 360 is barely 4, it still has plenty of room to grow.
