Niether are worth a buy, L.A. noire is more linear and somewhat short same goes for Mafia 2. i recommend a rent but not a buy. i rented mafia 2 and was satisfied but i bought L.A. noire for $60 buck and beat it in a week. now i dont know what to do with it, sell to gamefly for $17 or trade my friend for motal kombat =\

well if have the money defintly get la noire fun gameplay polished graphics and amazing cases and story or if u want cheap decent game go with mafia but i say la noire if u had da money

L.A Noire is possibly 20X better than Mafia 2. Not only is L.A more open but it just draws you in to the game the way a mystery movie draws you in.
