Do you think vehicles in online play for Call of Duty help or hinder the game?

In the 100th edition of OXM, they interviewed Infinity Ward about some things on Call of Duty 4, and why it was like it was. And they said that in the beginning of Call of Duty 4, they tired to use drivable Hummers for online modes. But they said that in order to have vehicles, you have to space buildings farther apart and it takes away from shooting people on foot. I agree with that saying because that same thing is true in the maps for World at War with vehicles on it. But do you agree with Infinity Ward? Do you like having tanks in world at war?

The maps that have tanks or drivable vehicles in them in world of war have been designed with tanks in mind. If there is only a few people in the game vehicles aren't good.

In a game such as Battlefield, vehicles work extremely well, generally because the player count is higher, and also because the maps have been tailored for this exact reason.
