Do xbox360 games rented frome Gamefly award achievements?

I rented Assassin's Creed II and I'm well into the game and have been awarded no achievements. Is this because that is how the game works or is it Gamefly's doing?

It's weird that you haven't been getting achievements... but no, Gamefly doesn't lock out achievements. The game should behave like any other copy of the game disc, including awarding achievements.

  1. yes they do award achievements. They are not special copies of the game, make sure you are signed into your gamer profile on the Xbox 360 and have a storage device connected.

  2. Yes they do give you achievements...Its not a demo copy so it doesnt lock the feature out..Its the original disk just sent by Gamefly
