What's the best way to gather Mithril in Patapon?

I need mithril for weapon crafting purposes, just don't wanna take all year finding the material

I've read that continually fighting Gaeens and Gorl are a good way to harvest Mithril. I can't really confirm as I do not have that game. Also, not sure if this applies to P1 or P2
