Which console has the best exclusive games?Xbox-playstations-wii

if i really had to chose i would chose xbox because of the halo series(not wars) and the mass effect and gears series. But in honesty io love Nintendo because they have Mario and Mario is my favorite game ever but not the new Mario the old awesome Mario so what do you think

The 360, and here's why:

While it is true that the PS3 has different and more capable hardware, most people won't program for the cell processor fully and those that do haven't really shown much favorable progress. You can mention games like Resistance, Killzone, God of War, and Uncharted, but save for the appearance (I can't comment on God of War) the plot of those games is low, the balance and difficulty and gameplay construction is low and unfortunately, while I own a PS3 and play these games myself, the best games are found on the 360, and if ports exist on the PS3, you can still see that they are definitely ports and even when remastered they just aren't all that worth it.

As for the 360, it has the best online service for a once a year cost, is much easier and faster to navigate, has the best selection of "hard-core" and "action" and "story" games coming out, and even has the RPG department locked down due to their actions. Any game the 360 gets MIGHT be ported to PS3, but it's not better.

  1. The ps3, and thats coming from someone who doesnt own a ps3, but an xbox. And for your information, mass effect isn't xbox exclusive anymore. Mass Effect 2 came out on ps3 earlier this year and a ps3 version of mass effect 3 is coming out the same time as the xbox version. Just for your information. :p

  2. GREAT question!

    Well the Wii DOES have classic like Mario, Link, Samus, etc etc guys (and gal for Samus haha) who we grew up with or grew attatched to who we all know and love and just can't say no to, it only appeals in that sense.

    Xbox has the "hardcore" gamers as I like to call them, whereas they have Halo, Left 4 Dead, and Gears of War. Great graphics, great plots, (maybe not Left 4 Dead...hahahah but still fun!) and great fun. Alan Wake deserves an honorable mention as well!

    As for PS3 however we have a WIDE selection of games! From the colorful world of Littlebigplanet, to the gory and destructive world of God of War, to the incredibly thrilling and drama-filled mystery of Heavy Rain to the epic conclusion of my favorite series which is an artistic masterpiece that is Metal Gear Solid 4 and to the "indiana jones of our time" Uncharted with its witty humor and lovable characters the PS3 takes my vote for best exclusive games because of its wide selection that can appeal to any gamer.

  3. Playstation3 All the way... You can become a Playstation Plus member and you actually feel like you are a valued customer, getting free games and other free content. Xbox360 has no free content rather or not you are gold member or not. You feel like you have to pay just to even be anything to the Xbox Live... Xbox live does not give anything free.

    If you are not XboxLive member your Xbox shares bandwidth with Xboxlive, eitherway... Thats why when you shut off your Xbox, it doesn't turn off right-away--if you are connected to the net.

  5. Easily not XBox 360. Not that they're not good exclusives on there but there's very little quantity. I mean how many excluive franchises does Microsoft have? The only big ones are Halo, Gears of War, Mass Effect, and Dead Rising.
    PlayStation 3 and Wii have a few exclusive franchises of there own. Sony has Little Big Planet, Ratchet and Clank, Infamous, Twisted Metal, and Metal Gear Solid (which is just about everywhere now) just to name a few. And I know the Wii has a lot of 3rd party shuffleware, but it does have a lot of good games. Nintendo has Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Metroid, Donkey Kong, and Super Smash Bros. So basically, PS3 and Wii.

  6. It's going to depend based on what games people like. The PS3 has lots of Action-Adventure and Platforming games like Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, and Little Big Planet. The Xbox 360 has more shooter excusives like Halo and Gears of War. The Wii has all of the Nintendo games as well as a few other hits. There are plenty of exceptions but these are what people are probably going to say when talking about the consoles and ,as a result, how they seem to be portrayed. Again it depends on what you like.

  9. This is such a popular question with no resolution. There's no absolute answer to this question because everyone has a preference and their own unique out look on their gaming devices. For me, every console has that one game that I really want but either don't have the console or money for. At least we all have Call of Duty~ giggity

  13. When it comes to exclusives all three have performed well over all. So even though I am going to pick just one, I am not saying the others suck, its just they weren't as solid.

    PS3 has the best exclusive catalog of games. No other company takes the kind of risks Sony does at bringing original content to gamers. I don't think anyone can argue over the next 10 years the impact games like Heavy Rain, Uncharted and LittleBigPlanet will have on the future of gaming. Sony's biggest accomplishments have been showing that games aren't just about guns and explsions, that you can have a gripping story with unforgettable characters.

    Wii would have won this vote from me if Nintendo actually pushed their franchises and innovated. Their biggest problem is how little the bar is raised with each new title. Making solid but passable games.

    Microsoft didn't win this because their greatest innovations aren't games, but everything else.

  24. PS3 Rules. If you don't have one you are missing out. Gears is a good game not a great game. Halo is like "Remember When". All the newer games come on both concoles. You have Unchartered 3 Kill Zone 3 God of War III do I need say more.

  30. For one thing, the Mass Effect series is now on ps3. I love halo, although I think that Uncharted, Resistance, LittleBigPlanet, Ratchet and Clank, InFamous, and God of War are much better than Halo and Gears. We recently lost Metal Gear Solid to 360, and 360 lost mass Effect.

    You got all the halos which now that I think of it they are due for a new game. And you have the MW which this year they are coming out on wii.
    PS3 has some cool games. But by far the wii has the worst games. They are little kids games which isn't bad all the time

  35. in my oppinion xbox has the better/exclusive games. xbox has halo (the whole trilogy) gears of war (also the whole trilogy) and get map packs for every call of duty 1 full month earlier (the map packs arent a game but a game add on) so my oppinion will stand at xbox

  39. Best is really a form of opinion. Many will say the PS3 because of its number of quality exclusives or Wii for its classic first party games, but I would probably side with 360 because Gears of War is my favorite of all exclusives and I enjoy the others like Forza or Halo more than those from other platforms.

I own a ps3 and an Xbox, the thing is I barely ever play my ps3 although Sony has more exclusives, Xbox has better quality, hers why, uncharted is fun buy its just tomb raider re worked, resistance just flat out sucks as well as killzone, I fell complete asleep playing heavy rain little big planet is fun if your a 10 year old kid, metal gear is cool but its coming to Xbox, and infamous well its nothing we've all never seen a thousand times in video games! The only really good exclusive is god of war... So while my ps3 collects dust, I'll be on my 360 using the best online service their is and playing awesome games like gears, halo, fable, left for dead and more!! Plus kinect is so much cooler than the ps3 ice cream cone!

  44. I would have to say all three systems have great exclusive titles, but i I would have to say Ps3 is the winner in my book because of the great variety of exclusive titles and free online. Would be nice to play MY music with my games like the xbox tho.
