Me personally its beast mode cus you finally get to play horde mode as locust

I haven't played the game myself but I really want to get my hands on beast mode. I like the way they tried to balance it. I think the timed phases along with the defenses keeping you at bay is a nice touch. It is almost like a puzzle game in a way because you have to spawn as the right creature for the job.

The added fact that enemies get stronger each wave and eventually become the tough cogs from the main story adds to the thrill. Its a welcome change. Even if it looks heavily inspired by Dead Space 2 multiplayer they seem to add a good twist to it.
