PC gaming vs Console gaming?
Which do you prefer, gaming on a PC or a Console and why? I own an xbox 360 (I love it with passion, lol) but my friends recently got a gaming PC, and it seems pretty cool, but the keyboard and mouse just isn’t my thing. So what do you guys think?

I play PC for strategy and RPG games. I just think those play a little better with a mouse and keyboard, plus there are more of those types of games on the PC. I use the console for everything else.

One of the oldest arguments. I say both. PC gaming has superior graphics, control scheme is great and customizable (may take getting used to, but when you do you won't want to go back) and the prices, like Steam sales, are super cheap. However, all that said, console is more convenient, more accessible and more people and friends are likely to play console. Plus, I usually have bad luck with computers and have lost game progress more than once. Has not happened with my PS3.

It depends on what system. PC is better than ps2, xbox, gamecube, and possibly Wii. PS3 and Xbox 360 is probably better.

I have a PS3 and a 360 but im all about the PC. PC is better in every aspect, but the catch being you have to be a technolgy person to get all you can out of one. Many people think you have to use a mouse and keyboard with everything which is wrong I have a spare 360 controller which I use for many of my online games. Graphics are always cutting edge because you can contantly improve your machine. Gameplay is always bigger because there are no restrictions on the world wide web. Consoles are good if you don't have the money or knowlege to augment a PC, but trust me the things you can do with a PC is almost limitless.

PC for any game with a gun. Racing on console all the way, n any skateboarding or sports games as well. Its kinda 50/50 on platformers but I'd prolly go console on that. Nothing beats a PC for an RPG or simulation. The console is reliable for everything but if your not into racing or sports games than the pc wins by far. It really comes down to a steady stick or a steady mouse hand.

I absolutely love RPG's but never tried to play anything on PC because of the shift between using a controller and a mouse/keyboard. Titles have become scarce on consoles, esp. playstation, so maybe I'll have to try out playing on pc someday but it just hasn't seemed to interest me enough to give it a go
