Is Rage exactly like Fallout 3/New Vegas or is it better/worse?

From what I've read and seen on the internet, there is not as much exploring as Fallout and more straight forward FPS shooting. The open world is mainly for vehicles apparently.

I rented Rage from RedBox, because I had pre-ordered it and wanted to make sure it was worth it. It is worse than Fallout 3/ New Vegas in my opinion, mostly because I love those two games. The game seems very fun, I just didn't think it was worth 60 dollars, genius storyline by the way, look it up. I would rent it, not buy it.

i dont know but i think fallout 3 and vegas are better u can do more thing rage is probelbly more like u have to go here bot fallout is like GO ANYWERE U WANT sort of thing

Rage is the most comparable with the Fallout series, with a little less customization. It also includes vehicles and, in most areas, a more apocalyptic feel. In, my opinion, better than fallout New Vegas.
