She used to be my significant other, and we might as well still be considering how much we're together. She tries. I'm trying to get her to play through Kingdom Hearts 1 right now. She's trying....very hard. Haha. She's not too good at it.... Okay she's terrible at it, but she's persistent. She wants to play through it. And she LOVES Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Castle Crashers, but she has to come to my place to play them. haha!

It depends on the game. She'll play Trivial Pursuit, Monopoly, Scene It, and Uno with me on my 360, but she won't touch a shooter no matter how hard I try to get her to give it a shot.

We both play although the games don't overlap every much. I'm not into RTS games (I'm awful at micro managing) or MMOs. We both enjoy FPS games so Left 4 Dead is a popular game at the moment. It's not a problem, we just both own nooblets in our different ways.

She only plays casual games and some old stuff, like Mario. I got her a DS for christmas, and she play Nintendogs and CrossworDS. She's even said before that she hates Zelda.

She is only into the Nintendo scene. Mostly the old school stuff. Super mario of course. Donkey Kong. Star Fox. She does like a few games on the ds too. I tried to get her into Guitar Hero at one point but she got frustrated and gave up on it.

I've tricked her into singing for RockBand, and she did enjoy watching me play the Witcher due to the dialogue, but other than that she's got zero interest in video gaming.

Type your answer here ...My wife doesn't play video games but after I downloaded the game "Flower" from PS3 online she has been totally hooked. I advise PS3 owners to buy and download Flower. You will love it.

I don't have a significant other at this time. Maybe it's because of all the time I spend playing video games? Maybe I need to call Dr. Phil, he'll know what to do.

Yes. I'm extremely glad I got my fiance' into videogames. My only issue is that she gets slightly obsessed with any games she likes. She maxed out everything possible on Nintendogs (99 of almost every item and a full money counter)... *sigh*

HELL YEAH!!!! in fact, my wife's XBL gamerscore is about 8or 9k higher than mine, lol. but hey, it's one of the major reasons I married her. we tear up gears and gears2 together, rock band and guitar hero, recently pwned RE5 together, we team up whenever possible. there are games that she can't play due to vertigo, but she happily watches and cheers me on when that happens.

Indeed she does, but she's more of a casual gamer than I am. Often times she watches me play through games, enjoying the story, characters and graphics. There are a few games that only she plays, though. Surprisingly, she is a bigger fan of first person shooters than me.
Resident Evil 5 was a great game to play together. It was awesome being able to play an entire game without passing the controller.
I love that she has an interest in games, it is never a problem for me.- 0

Yes. I got her started on God of War for PS2 but nowadays she sticks with the Wii and DS titles while I game on the 360 and PS3. She's not much of a "hardcore" gamer more the "casual" type.

Absolutely. They enjoy Pixel Junk Monsters best right now, but are into anything that strikes their fancy and has an elegant enough control scheme/learning curve.

Man, my wife won't put Halo 3 down. I'm honestly tired of it, but she play every night. Outside of Halo we don't play many action games, mostly family games like Scene It.

It's easy to get your girlfriend to start playing games, just show her Peggle, hehe, hook...line...and...sinker, lol, Oh and word to the wise, let her win most of the time, or play a game where you don't die easy or something like that, and to answer your question, yes my significant other has played video games with me before, just depends on the mood really.

I just got my significant other addicted to Club Penguin... I don't know if I would count that as a legitimate video game. Well, she does play SF IV with me from time to time so that definitely counts.

Yes. In fact, I specifically only search out significant others who play video games. I can't imagine having a relationship with someone who didn't at least in some small way enjoy video games.

Yes she does and I'm very glad about this. She isn't just one of those casual gaming Nintendogs and Bejeweled types either. She was more hyped up for Fallout 3 and GTA IV to come out than I was!
Having a significant other who games is pretty important to me because I'm a huge geek and love to talk about games/play them. It is also always fun to game with friends so it would be sad if I had to leave out that interaction between my significant other and I.
All in all, it probably isn't necessary to date someone who games but when you're as huge a collector/fan as I am it definitely helps! (Thank you for being so awesome, hun!)
