Epic Nerd Battle #16: Dante vs. Kratos

Hello and welcome the first Epic Nerd Battle of 2012, where I pit 2 video game characters or teams in an epic battle... TO THE DEATH! I would like to thank everyone for the great reception this series gets. I now have around 10 requests in my arsenal currently, and I'll find a way to get to all of them asap. Anyway, this battle was requested by wlanedbz.

Today's battle is between 2 swordsmen from 2 franchises that ironically I've never played before. We have the protagonist from the 11 year old Devil May Cry franchise, Dante, up aginat the protagonist from the 7 year old God of War franchise, Kratos. So, who would win?

all of these other people are saying kratos why? is it just because he killed the gods well you forget kratos has no super powers while dante has many he is a boss he can fly in the air and use his demon power to to multiple more times damage he can also stop time o and he has a gun and he fights monsters while kratos fights people so my answer is dante because of his powers and level of coolness

  1. Kratos would smash Dante's face in, and then use Blades of Athena to rip open many parts of his bodies, then use his Cestus Gloves to punch his face in again, and for the finale throw him up in the air and catch him, then rip the remains of him in half! Yep, that is how brutal I can get.

  4. dante uses an oversized sword to conquer demons fr some reason or another. kratos uses two smaller blades and stomps the gods who spawn those demons simply because he can

  5. Well Kratos did kill gods, but really were those gods so tough. Dante is actually immortal unlike those lame gods who got torn to peices by a really pissed off guy.

    Kratos is tough Dante is unstoppable. I mean literally you can chop him up and he still regens.

    If you didn't watch the anime Devil May Cry or play any of the games then you would have no way of ever seeing Dante get serious. Let me tell you when he does its game over for whoever pissed him off.
