A Couple Questions before actually buying this serivce!

Now i never really used a service like this for games. so i want to start off with basic questions:

1. Is it worth it?
2. How long does it shipped to Hawaii? (where i live)
3. I see that when we rent games, we can buy them if we like it. Does this apply to all games? I see Final Fantasy 6 for GBA which i want to rent and eventually buy. can i do that?
4. How exactly does this service work? assuming i get the cheapest deal (the 1 game out) or would it be better to get the 2 games out.

Personally i would like to use this service, but it just seems like too much money for only 2 games. Plus i would need to wait a sum amount of time which is time taken off from enjoying games.

Anything else i need to know?

Thanks!

i will try to answer your questions in order:
1-yes, if you play a ton of games a year or are a avid gamer (spend more than 40 hours a month playing) then it's worth it, within 5 months i played, beat and enjoyed over 30 games never having to buy retail then trade in for a cheap price.
2-the average amount of time to wait is 4 days up to a week, i have on occasion gotten games in like 2 days so it can take more time or less depending on holidays, weekends and a large amount of new customers joining(new customers get first priority )out of the 30+ games i rented from gamefly i only had an issue 2 times,as a new customer you may get frustrated having to wait more than a couple days but it does pick up,most of the complaints are about the shipping times but most people take for granted the fact that gamefly is not only shipping them a game to their house but they ship USPS not fed ex

  1. 1. GameFly is a good service for game rentals. The price is a bit high, but games ARE more expensive then movies- so it makes sense.
    2. It takes 2-5 days on average for games, varying on distance. I believe you'll be using the LA shipping center. I guess it'll take about 4 days.
    3. Most games are available to Keep or Purchase. Some games aren't though due to low stock, but majority are.
    4. If you're familiar with Netflix or Blockbuster, it's the same deal. You add Games to a Q (or GameQ on GameFly). When the games are available, GameFly will automatically send it to you. You keep it as long as you want with no late fees or due dates. When you return the game in the same envelope, you get another game from your Que. Rinse and repeat.

  2. 1 yes it is. I am a game nerd and is used to buying all my games for 30-50 bucks. So I have more cash for legos now.
2 I live in TN and it takes me about 4-5 days to send the game and get a new one back. However on the envelope it has a bar code for the mailman to scan so GF will know you are sending it back and send you your next game before they even get it.
3 You can buy most games. Some older games you can't. Because then they would be out of stock and then no one can enjoy the awesomeness of that game.
4 Find games and put them in your Q and GF will send you a game or games and you play them as long as you want. If you have 2 games send one back and play the other and wait for the other to get there and if I lived where you do I would do that.
A cool thing I like about GF is every 3 months you can get 5 bucks to spend on any used game. Plus I think after being a member for so long you get 15% off games you buy. I like GF and I think you will 2.
    Hope you will join
