What has happened in the past 2 days?

First, Gotentaiment, then DigitalGuy, now Pikminlover all gone! In just the short span of 2 days, 3 great members have left. This is just insane, I don't know if anything can make me leave. Right now I am immune to anything on this site. Even Pikmin leaving... But this? This is just too much. I don't know what is happening. How is the future going to be for GF answers? Will GF notice this loss of traffic and do something about it? Or will this site crumble to the ground and disappear from the internet? Cause when a site dies and has no more traffic, it usually get's taken off the web.

Is it possible to fix any of this? Or does this site have no more hope... I guarantee by August this place will be dead because of the loss of so much. Nothing can fix this site. The petition became a lost cause and didn't work. Even making another petition won't do anything. GF won't listen... They care too much about the main site.

LOL, you're going crazy man. Did you take your pills? Or did you take more than you're supposed to?

I've been moderating this site for 2 or 3 years now (darn alsheimers [which I spelled wrong...?]) so I have some experience. I don't think this site will get closed down even if the traffic is low. In fact, I'd say that if traffic is low, GameFly might actually attempt to fix it (who knows though :P).

A more likely outcome is that all the hardcore GameAnswer-ers will leave, ending up with a small list of active Admins and a bunch of noobies.

Pssh. Who knows how the future will pay out. I didn't expect any of this 5 years ago (Not just GA stuff..).

Moral of story: Don't get too excited. Just go with the flow and you'll end up with a Jello Puddin' Pop :]

  3. The reason for this is the leaving members. And sometimes leaving members result in leaving members. Leaving members can lead to lack of quality questions as well. I believe the biggest hit the site took was when DG left. DG had a passion for this site and did so much for it. He even made the support questions disappear for a little while. When he left the site suffered.

    And not to saound a bit modest, but I think I had a hand in the site's distruction. I addressed the issue in a question yesterday threstening me thinking about leaving the site. This lead to slayer almost leaving, leading to pikminlover and TG leaving. I could be overreacting, but those problems started happening after I asked the question.

    Now GF is obviously not interested in this site at all; if it was, they'd respond to at least 1 of those petitions. I feel that GF actually might take initiative. If members keep leaving left and right, traffic will stop. GF will have to then investigate thw issues with the site.
