On Resident Evil Darkside Chronicals, why can't I control the players movements like in resident evil 4 (Wii)

There's really no way to answer this question considering it's more the developer's business why they made the game that way. Just kniw some games are like this. This style of gameplay is called "on-rails." This is when you don't control the character.

  1. Because they didn't want you to not know where to go in the game. In MANY games, i always get distracted by something else, like side missions and stuff like that.
