where is the grappling hook

You have to progress past the Ancient Citersian(or whatever its called) and then go to the isle of songs and learn Nayru's wisdom. go to Lanayru Desert and near the mechanism that opened the mining facility, you should see some butterflies and some purple/pink smoke. Play the song there, thrust your sword into the symbol that appeared and clear the silent realm(look up a walkthrough for the tears; theres 15, so I cant put the locations here). When you clear it and come back to the real world, you get the Clawshots, It lets you grapple items and certain targets. Use them to go to a new area!
