Help me FIND AN OLD GAME (2002)

I`m looking for a game I played in 2002 .. i don`t remember the name.. but I can tell you some details..

-the protagonist is a human with brown hair (i don`t know if male/female)
-back view
-i think it's an adventure game because the objective is traveling, finding objects, or talking to people
-it was day and night
-the dialog box was in the bottom of the screen (a darker pattern like a shadow and white letters)
-i`m remembering a scene .. i`m walking on a plain (green) next to a river (blue) and i can visit neighbours houses

Unfortunately... I'm not quite grasping the game your talking about. Do you remember the system it was for?.

Do you remember the genre?. sci-fi? fantasy? etc.?
ANY more info you can remember would really help out.

  5. Sounds like one of the pokemons to me. You know when they started making it so they had a clock so it turned into night when it did in real life? But my clock was always off, so it was dark during the day. Haha lol.
