Ebay gets you top dollar for just about any used item. I sell all of my stuff at a pawn shop and he sells it on ebay and gives me 80% of what it makes. I usually get atleast $15. And on games like Fallout 3 i got over $30. I suggest you either sell them yourself or if you dont have that kind of patience, go to a pawn shop and see if theyll do this for you aswell.

  1. I've heard the Blockbuster Game trade-ins are typically the most, but I don't normally trade in games for cash or store credit.

  3. None of them. Stores which offer cash or credit the moment its asked for will take a sizeable cut for their trouble. Sell your unwanted games on Ebay or Amazon, that way you're not tied to credit from a particular store or a particular time to spend it.

The other point is that the amount of credit given is only one side of the coin, the cost of the store's games is the other. Those which give more may well charge more to make up for it.

  5. Try local game trade-in stores, too. I know the ones around where I live always try to outdue the bigger corporations- you may find that they are willing to give you more than, say, GameStop. I know a lot of people sell games on Craig's List, too. That's how I sold my Wii Fit and got 80% of the money I paid for it back. Also, GameStop trade-ins are a better deal if you do in-store credit and have their Edge card for an extra 10% credit.

  6. I don't trust any of those stores, they're just looking to give you the absolute cheapest price they can for your games and then usually turn around and re-sell that game for double the amount they paid you for it.
I prefer www.GameTZ.com it is a community of gamers who trade/buy/sell games. If you're bored of a game just do a search and look for someone on there who wants it and see if they happen to have a game you want in return for it. I've been using that site for 10 years now and haven't traded anything to GameStop or anywhere else since.
Another popular site is www.Goozex.com but I don't use them so I can't really comment on them.

  7. Ebay is your best bet. But you can also sell on craigslist or if you want you can put that you are looking to trade a game for another one on craigslist. A couple of my friends do this on Craigslist.
