Why don't Microsoft just make a 360 with bult-in Wi-Fi so people won't haft to pay $100.00 for one
Best Answer
Because Microsoft wants to screw you over without you knowing it. Most people dont know that you have to have an adapter to get wirless internet. Same with the PS3 slim vertical stand, im still pissed off about that. And has anybody noticed that Xbox and PS3 dont come with HD cables anymore and you have to buy them seperately? Its to get more money from you without you really noticing it.

I guess supply and demand. People are still buying the 360 and the network adapter separately, so if they can grab an extra $100 and get away with it, they're going to do that.

Cause it will bump up the price of the 360. And at this point in the game console wars, the big 3 are trying to cut costs to their product while offering the same quality of gaming to a more money-pinching crowd. That, and wired connections are far more abundant than wireless at this time. If people have the money, they will buy the wireless wifi.
But...if they are going to build a 360 with wifi built in, they might as well put in a 250HD, 4 USB ports in the front, and include an HDMI cable with Blu-Ray player integrated. They should call this the Ultra-Uber-Brag-To-Your-Friends-X-Box-360.
