What is better: PS3 or Xbox 360?

I have a 360 and i want to get a PS3, but should I get one?

Although I personally prefer PS3, it's really not the system that's important. What games do you like? Does PS3 have any exclusive titles you would want to play? Are you interested in other features of the PS3 such as the Blu-ray player, internet browser and free online gaming? You see, it all comes down to whether or not the PS3 interests you.

  1. Well eventhough PS3 and Xbox are amazing, Xbox is better. Remember that's an opinion though. The Xbox has some things i like more than PS3. Xbox has: Party chat, Simpler, Listen to music during games, And a lot of other really small things. But there is one big thing about those small things, Sony can update their console to change this. And Sony desperately needs updating. Some things PS3 has that Xbox doesnt: Web browser, built in wirless adapter, and Blu-ray.


    So to sum that up, both are good. And both are worth the cost. Its just preferances and opinions.

  2. Ehh, I don't like questions like this because sometimes they can spark up fanboy rage. But that doesn't seem to have happened yet with this one. Anyway, if you had asked a few years ago, I'd say Xbox 360 all the way. But right now I think that the PS3 has caught up in the games area, and both have a ton of exclusive games I love. Plus if you have an HDTV, Blu-ray movies are unbeatable in quality. So I'd say both are most definitely worth owning, so if you can get a PS3 in addition to your 360, do it. But I wouldn't say you should sell your 360 in favor of PS3, if that was your plan, because I think that generally leads to regret when the 360 gets that next big exclusive.

  3. I agree with Transience. Beginning of last year I would have easily said 360 was better. But, right now, the PS3 is doing a lot of catching up and I would say it is pretty even with the 360 in terms of "fun" and functionality.

    Of course, all opinion.

    The truth is, the only people that flat out say "so and so SUCKS!" are fanbois who feel the need to be "more loyal to my brand then you are to yours!"
