Is anyone having trouble playing games or signing into Playstation Network, on their PS3?

I have been trying to figure out why I can't get online..

OK, EVERBODY WHO HAS A FAT PS3, READ THIS!!! If you have a clock problem or if you can sign in on PSN, your information on your account could be leaked out. There is a article on Yahoo.com about this and it is pretty good actually.


Sony has said if you have a PS3 Fat, you shouldnt use it, because your information might be leaked. And there has also been trouble getting trophies to work right aswell.

  1. Apparently there was a clock error on the old "fat" PS3s. According to the playstation blogs, it should now be taken care of and your PS3 should be safe to use, but I haven't tried mine yet to confirm.

  2. It was a problem with the internal clock reading Feb 29 instead of Mar 1. Similiar to the problem the Zunes had on dec 31 2008. But the problem fixed itself already when the internal clock turned 12:00am Mar 1 GMT.
