If I rent Mass Effect 2 from GameFly will I be able to access the Cerberus Network and DLC?

Yah, if you buy any game that involves a code in the case, you have to buy it new to be able to use it. But if you buy games from GameFly, the cases havnt been used and the code inside should work fine.


While youre renting it, however, you cant use the Cerberus Network unless you buy it (1200 MS Points/$15). For now, the Cerberus Network unlocks Zaheed, Extra Weapons, and the Normandy Crash Site. The game is still pretty good without those though.

  1. Not for free. In fact, the only way to get free access to the Cerberus Network is to buy the game new.

    However, if you rent the game or buy it used, you can download access to the Cerberus network through Xbox LIVE for $15.
