How many players can there be in an online game of Battlefield: Bad Company 2?

Well Bukowski is right, however, you have squads in Bad Company 2. The squads can have up to four people in them. So you can't have 6 or more people in your lobby like Modern Warfare 2. :(
But there are multiple squads in a game, with a total of 24-32 people like Bukowski said.- 0
