Do you ever think the SOCOM series will become less tactical and more 'shoot 'em up'?

Feels like this once good franchise has losts its way. What would you do to spruce it up a bit?

  1. Definitely more blood and guts, more of the standard FPS type stuff. SOCOM is too familiar to like R6V2 for me these days. I'd rather it not feel like a modified co-op mode of a single player campaign and become more up with the times.

  2. I think it will remain tactical, because that's really all the series has to differentiate itself from all the other military shooters out there. If anything, they might do a more arcade-style spin-off series that goes for gameplay similar to the average shoot-'em-up game.

  3. I really enjoyed the first couple in this series, to me what made this game different and fun was that you couldn't just go run wild and blow everyone away. You actually had to think and be patient, which isn't always easy when playing video games. As far as sprucing it up, that's a tough one, the series has been around for a while now and it's a war game, how many changes can you make?
