Who thinks PS3 motion controller is bad for hardcore gamers?

i think it might tip the scale to more of casual or indie games but i hope they keep the hardcore games on. I know there is Socom 4 with the motion controller.

I'm fine with it's existence as long as Sony and developers don't start making you use it with every game. As long as there's still a regular controller option in games, I'll be fine with it.

  1. I still think developers need to prove that motion controls have something (other than novelty) to offer the hardcore gamer.

    There's a lot of big talk about stuff like the PS3 "Move" or the Xbox 360's "Natal," but not a whole lot of proof.

    Look at it this way: Nintendo's had a huge head start on the motion control angle, and really haven't created much that doesn't cater to the casual audience. As such, I'll remain skeptical until I actually see a game that proves me wrong.
