IF we loosen the definition of "PS2" to umbrella people who have modded a PS3 slim to fit into a PS2 "phat" shell casing then.... sure, it'll work on a "PS2" :)

No. If you put it in there, it creates a time paradox and goes back in time in an attempt to prevent the Xbox 360 from being released.
