Should Magnavox come back and bring a new Oddysee with them?

No, that simple. there not set up to create a gaming system that would match anything out right now and it wouldn't go anywhere.
I think Sega should try again.. but, that's because I loved my Dreamcast.

No they should not. Bringing a new console to market takes years and a ton of money. I dont think Magnavox has enough capital or experience to do that. The only reason MS was able to break in was because they already had relationships with publishers because of Windows.

I would agree with reverend, the market is extremely competitive and its far more difficult to break into the industry now with soaring production and hardware costs.

No way.
With the current market of systems out now, Magnavox would end up being the next 3D0. As it stands, Nintendo has a firm grip on most of the casual market while Microsoft and Sony both have a good war going on with the more hardcore market.
Magnavox in the end would find themselves lost in the shuffle and at a loss of a lot of money.

Absolutely not. First, they've been out of the market too long. Second, with OnLive on the horizon that's going to bring us to a total of 4 major consoles (not counting handhelds). I'd rather not have a 5th to deal with.
