Do you think the Wii's MotionPlus is gonna help sports games?

Can the controller make 'em better?

It works both ways. Wii MotionPlus is going to allow sports games (all games, for that matter) to be more responsive, but some of the responsibility falls on developers to make sure they integrate the technology properly.

  1. I think it will benefit golf games the most because they're all about accuracy.

  2. Depends on the game,

Sports like Golf, Baseball, Tennis, will get better because of the 1:1 but games like Basketball and Football won't see much effect.

  4. It won't necessarily make them better, as game developers will have to build their game around how the game is played. Nintendo has confirmed that there will be no backwards compatibility with the motionplus, so older games are left as is.
