What is the HARDEST game you ever played? Or quit playing for that matter?

There are a few. First there is Nam 75 for the NEO Geo, which is the only game with infinite continues I can't beat. Deadly Towers, Heroes of the Lance, and the already mentioned NES games round out the tough 8 bit crowd. T2 the arcade game, 7th Saga, and Contra Hard Corps are some of the 16 bit crowd. Devil May Cry 3, Ninja Gaiden, and Guitar Hero are called hard for these days, but none of those were all that hard with practice. I play Beatmania IIDX and that is the hardest game around for this day and age. Take a look

OverG Fighters can get pretty hard on xbox 360 in the extreme mode, you get a crappy F1 and like 4 missles, pretty realistic though, not like in ace combat when you get a ridiculous amount of missles, smash TV can be pretty tough too though if you want to get into older games

Most recently, Ninja Gaiden Sigma. When I was younger, Contra used to destroy me. I had a blast playing it with my Dad though, so it was all good.

The Tony Hawk series has gotten pretty out of control, do a grind for six miles or do a 2 million point combo. That made me stop playing that game.

Battle Toads and TMNT was hard also, I don't think I ever finished either of those.
