Do you think Final Fantasy VII should make a comeback in the PS3 as far as improved graphics and cutscenes?
I apologize if question has been asked already.

It's been over 10 years since FF7 was released, and while there is a lot of debate to whether a remake should be made or not, I say: YES.
Don't get me wrong, graphics aren't everything, but FF7 is one of those games that deserves to be played with the best graphics and best sounding music possible. I could do without voice-overs, unless they had some sort of dual-language option. As for the battle system, I'm undecided on whether they should keep it traditional turn-based or take a more hack-n-slash approach.
I saw some answers that have pointed out that most people have already played FF7. Yes, many people have, but there are plenty of newer and younger fans that haven't gotten the opportunity to play it at all. The game is hard to obtain these days, and until it is released in the PSN store, people who don't already own a copy probably won't be getting to play it anytime soon.
It would be a wise move for Square-Enix, and if it was exclusive for the PS3, I'm sure tons of consoles would be sold.

Short answer...without a doubt. FF VII was one of the best selling games in the history of PS and it changed the way that people saw games. A FF VII remake would definitely make FFVII fans go crazy ;)

I do not think so. While I can not deny the things FF VII has done for RPG's as a hole, I think the game is highly overrated. I think brining it back like that would only hurt the nostalgia value the game has, and lower the overall opinion of the game.

Depends. As a whole new game with completely new graphics and everything? Nah. As a sort of virtual store touch-up and slight upgrade that I can buy and download? Sure.

Final Fantasy VII being exclusive for the PS3, I believe, is wishful thinking. Square Enix would want to make such a project available to the widest install base. So you have to consider the amount of time they would have to put into such a large, polished game on multiple platforms. The only time I could see that happen is if they use the same graphics engine as Final Fantasy XIII, once they're finishing up the 360 port.

I think a large part of FF VII's appeal is in its nostalgic value. I'm not entirely sure remaking it would be the best idea. I would be just as happy for them to make it available on the PSN store here in the US and not Japan-only. I would buy FF VII for my PSP in an instant.

Yes if they polished FFVII it would make an excellent game, im pretty sure people would even buy a PS3 just to get that game. I would not want them to remake the battle system and everything just polish the graphics, make it up to date

Yes. I love Final Fantasy VII, but it looks eye-gougingly bad on modern displays, to the point that it's not even playable.

Hellz yes. It's not my favorite RPG, but it is a classic that I'd love to play again with a now-gen makeover.

No. Remaking a game that not a lot of people played, or is incredibly old is fine, but damn near everyone has played FF VII, so remaking it would be pointless. Plus, as was said on here already, part of its appeal these days is the nostalgia of the game.

I think they should. Most FF fans loved FFVII, and it sold extremely well on the PS. Now if it came back with amazing cut scenes, and possibly voice over and just overall awesome quality it would probably sell just as well. Also they could change whatever they didn't like from the first version of it polish it up but changing a few things and making them better.

Absolutely. Re-making this game would probably sell some systems to older gamers on the fence about making the plunge into PS3 territory as well. I would definitely buy it.
