what does the 360 slim mean when it says KINECT READY?
Best Answer
It means that there's a special Kinect port in the back of the 360 that handles both transfer of data and also provides power. If you don't have a new 360 that's Kinect ready, Kinect will still work, you'll just have to plug it in via USB, and you'll have to plug the Kinect in at the wall outlet.

It means you can plug the Kinect in without having to buy an adapter or something like that.

it means there IS a kinect port in the back of the xbox 360 that transfer data and provides power but it provides access to internet production like xbox live the normal xbox360 has the via USB has not been invented for the xbox360 slim and i will make sure its never invented cause it will cause much more than 200$ so i reccomend buying the slim with the kinect port not trying it on the regular xbox360
