Which is better: Nintendo, Sony, Sega, or Microsoft?

I really want to know.

It's not really about who's better, as it is who do you like better.

I'm not sure why Sega is there, since it's been some time since they've made a console. Nintendo is a good company right now for people who are Mario hardcore people, but for the most part are casual gamers. Sony is good for a mix of everything. They have a variety of great exclusive games. And Microsoft has great online and great exclusives that are mostly shooters.

So, if you're looking for a company to call you're main provider of gaming consoles, look at all of these factors. Along with the fact that Microsoft doesn't have a portable console and the others do. Because honestly, saying one of the companies is better than the other is just an opinion and not a fact.

    The fact is, you have to decide for yourself. There's plenty of Wii vs. 360 vs. PS3-like arguments and threads out there and I don't think this is the right venue to do this kind of war (which it WILL become). Fanboys will say their console of choice, but to me, all of the consoles have good/bad points.

    So grow a pair and actually do some research.

  3. I think Nintendo has the best content that is accessible to ANYONE. Sony has a great console in the PS3 and has some really good/interesting exclusive games. Microsoft has arguably the best online content and some of the best shooting games.....And Sega...*shrug* It really depends on what you are looking for.

  4. Sony's been my favorite since I got the original PlayStation. It has the most of my favorite franchises, and that's usually what it comes down to: the games.

    Nintendo is successful doing their own thing. I can't explain it, they are not my style so I do not pay much attention but I do admire them.

    Too young to recall Sega as I was born in 88.

    Sony is my fav. Before Nintendo came up with their "insane ideas" it was Sony that did this. I like Sony because they take big leaps in hardware and software. From having a CD player, then DVD player and even winning with Bluray. People laugh at 3DTV but I bet they were the same ones laughing at the Wii. I like Sony because they think outside of the box and truly deliver on ENTERTAINMENT.

    Microsoft just seems to pile the most crap together by throwing money at devs and calling it a package.
