Is there going to be a Halo 4?

I've been finding many articles recently that say Halo 4 is already under development. And they give a different developer, which makes sense, since Bungie is out after Reach. So, one of my questions is can somebody else make a Halo game other than Bungie? (Besides Halo Wars of course) And is this actually going to happen? Too early to tell?

The answer is somewhat complicated. Microsoft owns the Halo ip and chances are they will make a Halo 4 since Bungie ended Halo 3 with a cliffhanger. However the chances of Bungie being involved with Halo 4 are pretty slim.

Although there is nothing in their contract with Activision that says they cant work on other games so I suppose if Microsoft were to offer up enough cash Bungie could make it.

A quick answer is the next Halo game is Reach. After that nothing has been confirmed.

  4. i guess you can say yeah. Halo reach is coming in august. a whole squad of Spartans on planet reach. you can customize you armor on it, even in campaign
