Would StarCraft II be a good RTS for beginners?

I have only played an RTS once or twice...is this a game that is fairly accessible and easy to learn?

Yes and no. Yes if you play the campaign first. No, if you jump right into multiplayer.

  1. I haven't played it yet, but I heard that there are a lot more choices in difficulty levels for the campaign, so if you start there it'll probably at least be a better entry point than the first Starcraft difficulty-wise.
