What would be the best strategy and location for hunting boars in Red Dead Redemption?

I would go to Tall Trees to try and find boar. You can find them other places but I always see more in that region. Go to Bearclaw Camp, in the southwest area of Tall Trees, for awhile and you'll be overwhelmed by them. If you don't see any, set up a campsite and save your game...they should be all around you at this point. You could use bait to try and lure them to you as well, but watch out for bears and cougars.
