Does the story change significantly if you help the Protoss instead of Dr. Hansen, in StarCraft II?

Does it change the main story much? Do you get different bonuses?

If you go with Dr Hansen, she will give you Zerg Research Points. But if you side with the Protoss, they will give you Protoss Research Points.
Other than that, it is just a different storyline and the type of mission you get to do. However it wont affect the main story line.

    If you choose to help Hansen, you get a kiss and she leaves for good. If you choose the Protoss, you see that Hansen is heavily infested and you end up killing her.
